October 2008 Inspirational Message From Marisa Pell

marisa.jpgGreetings,

Happy Halloween everyone! The fall is my absolute favorite time of year, and the energetic properties always help to move stagnant energy forward.  Prepare for a big leap readers ~ the energy of this week plus the first week of November (up to the 5th) will be very slow. But don’t let this fool you! Be smart and get some rest. Once the 6th hits, life will be hitting at warp speed. You either need to jump on the train or stay home.

This is not a time to contemplate decisions. Opportunities will arise that will not present themselves again. Great risk is involved now. If you’ve been on the pity pot saying, “Nothing great ever happens to me”, you may be eating your words, because new opportunities are ripe during the month of November following this Halloween. If you stall, you will have no one to blame but yourself. That means no complaining! Sometimes, you may want something great to happen in your life, but once it’s in front of you it can become scary to jump forward into it. Don’t be afraid of success, because if you jump through this window of opportunity your success is pretty much sealed (provided you follow your gut feelings).

This energetic shift comes with it a long standing promise of staying by your side for the next three to five years. It’s like having a strong sturdy friend walking along side you.

Sounds great right? But I’m sure you’re wondering, “Why wouldn’t I jump in — sounds too good to be true!” Well here’s the catch. The leap promises great rewards, but comes with a choice of a swift “by the sword” sacrifice.

With “by the sword”, I mean cutting something out of your life swiftly and without thinking. As the blade of a sharpened sword cuts in a clean rapid manner, so will you need to cut out a part of your life that is no longer needed. Sorry, but you can’t have both.

The other catch — there will be no guarantees that this swift decision will prove to be the right one. There will be noone telling you that success is promised. This decision will be based solely on faith (kind of like Indiana Jones in the Temple Of Doom where he has to step out into the fog not knowing if he will fall to his death or be supported. A swift decision was needed because what was coming behind him may have been worse!)

This could apply to ending an old relationship and starting a new one, moving into major success with your career, or any major life shift. Whatever the case, the old with look nothing like the new. These changes will give you a whole new life. If it’s a career change, it won’t be in your current field. If it’s a new relationship, it will be entirely different than your choices before.

But like I said, this will require you to completely cut ties with your old life to make this transition. If you even slightly hold on the the thread of the old, you will be left hanging by it, and the new life will pass you by. Your choice :) Take responsibility for it.

All my best!

Marisa
